SSC CGL 2021 Exam Date:- The Staff Selection Commission is organizing the Combined Graduate Level Exam known as SSC CGL, for the recruitment process of non-technical Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ category posts in different Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and its subordinate office.

The official notification of SSC CGL comes out on 29th December 2020 by the Staff Selection Commission of India for 7035 vacancies.

The online application can be seen for one month from 29th December 2020 to 31st January 2021.

SSC CGL released its exam calendar, the online exam for SSC CGL 2021Tier 1 will be conducted from May 29 to June 7, 2021. The exam date for the other two tiers i.e.: Tier 2(CBE) and Tier 3(Descriptive) will be released soon.

The exam is conducted in 4 Tiers, Tier 1(Objective) and Tier 29(Objective) is conducted online and Tier 3(Descriptive) and Tier 4(Skill Test) are held offline.

The total number of vacancies of 2020-2021 is 7035 less than the last Vacancies that are 8582 out of which only 3674 vacancies are declared for the General category. To apply for the exam a candidate must be from India and the age and qualification of a candidate depends on the position he/she applied for.

Selection Procedure in SSC CGL 2021

 The candidate is selected based on marks scored in Tier 1 if the student achieves CGL cut-off in Tier 1 then he/she can move forward to Tier 2. In Tier 2 all the candidates are required to appear for paper1 and paper 2. Tier 1 is a type of scoring exam and Tier 2 is a merit-deciding exam. If the candidate got selected in Tier2 and Tier3 then he/she will appear for Tier4 that is qualifying in nature.

Conclusion

For all the students who applied for the exam if they are qualified for document verification then a student must carry all the documents along with them like-Matriculation Certificate, education qualification, caste certificate, etc. The student is required to carry the original document as well at the time of verification.
