Indian Coast Guard recruitment 2021:- The ministry of defence has been invited to the online applications for the post of Navik and Yantrik in the Indian Coast Guard. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official website of the Indian coast guard https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in/. The online applications will fill online between 5 January 2021 to 19 January 2021. Check below eligibility criteria, age limit, application fees, and procedure of selection. The applications issued for the Navik general duty, Navik domestic branch and Yantrik. This recruitment is only for male candidates.
Naviak (General Duty):- Applicants should have passed senior secondary education with physics and mathematics from a recognised board or COBSE (Council of Board for School education).
Navik (Domestic Branch):- Candidates must have passed 10th class from a recognised board (COBSE).
Yantrik:- Aspirants should have passed secondary education from a recognised board (COBSE) and diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics and Radio power (Telecommunication) engineering approved from AICTE.
Age Limit:-The age limit should be between 18 to 22 years and upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC non-creamy for reserved seats only.

The selection of the candidates will depend on 4 stages, stage I, Stage II, Stage III and Stage IV.
Indian Coast guard will declare the final selection merit list after clearing the all stages.
Stage I (Written Exam):- The computer based online test will be held in stage I. The minimum passing marks are following. All questions will multi type choice and there is no negative marking for wrong answer.
Navik Domestic branch:- 30 Marks for UR/OBC/EWS and 25 for SC/ST
Navik general duty:- 50 Marks for UR/OBC/EWS and 44 for SC/ST including physical test.
Yantrik (Mech./Elec./EC):- 50 Marks for UR/OBC/EWS and 44 for SC/ST
Navik DB question paper will arise from Maths, English, Reasoning and Science of the level of 10th class and total numbers of questions will sixty having 1 mark each.
In the exam of Navik General Duty questions will be asked from Maths and Physics of the level of 12th , and total number of questions is 50 having 1 mark for each question.
For Yantrik branch written test questions will relate from their relevant branch and total numbers of questions will be 50.
Physical efficiency test:- Applicants who will pass the computer-based online examination will be called for PFT. In physical test candidates will have to clear running of 1.6 kilometers in 7 minutes, 20 squats up, and 10 push-ups. This is essential for candidates to clear the physical test.

First of all, candidates will have to log in Indian Coast Guard official website https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in/.
Candidates should have a valid e mail id and registered mobile number.
Applicants can fill the application form only for one post; ICG will not accept multiple applications.
Aspirants can fill the application form between 5 January to 19 January 2021.
